Architectural Continuity and Art
While creating architectural continuity with the lacquered slatted panels used in the
corridors, we transformed these transition areas into experience points with the works
of art decorating the walls. In this way, we aimed to establish a strong bond between the
parts of the house.
170 m² | 4+1 | Istanbul, Suadiye
In this new project located on the Suadiye coast, one of the most prestigious points of
Istanbul, we designed a calm, balanced, and peaceful living space for a family living with
daughters, where their eldest son can stay during his visits. By placing spaciousness
and aesthetic integrity at the center of our design process, we planned every detail to
adapt to the specific needs of the family.
Living Room: A Modern and Elegant Interior Design with Classical Touches
In our living room design, we brought together modern and elegant lines with furniture
featuring neoclassical decoration details.
Our goal was to create a timeless foundation
that would remain relevant for many years to come, where the overall harmony could be
easily maintained even with minor decorative changes.
* Material Palette: We combined lacquered and milled oak veneers with light oak
parquets to achieve a warm and clear floor.
* Focal Point: While creating a strong focal point by covering the carrier column on
the TV unit wall with marble, we provided visual continuity by continuing this
texture on the coffee table and island surfaces.
Living Spaces: Teenage Girls' and Guest Rooms
* Teenage Girls' Room: We handled feminine touches in a simple and controlled
language. While making an elegant emphasis with floral patterned wallpaper, we
aimed for the room to easily adapt to local changes in the coming years with its
soft color palette.
* Guest Room: This area, planned for the eldest son who no longer lives with the
family but comes to visit, combines the comfort that will make him feel at home
when he arrives with a simple elegance where other guests can be hosted at
other times.
The Master Room: A Refined Character
In the master bedroom, we chose to balance modern lines with neoclassical details.
While preparing a serene environment with neutral tones and lacquered slatted panels,
we gave the space a refined character with pendant lighting, special wallpaper, and a
velvet upholstered headboard.
